I Believe in Santa….

Christmas time is a special time of the year. The birth of a tiny baby born in a manger. Who would have known this baby would become our savior. Sacrifice his life for our sins? And who would have thought we would celebrate his death and resurection? Something that happened so many years ago, still has a powerful meaning. I heard a three year old once say. Christmas is when Santa comes down the chimney and leaves presents under the tree. One child elaborated about rudolph and how hard he has to work just for the one night his nose would shine so bright, that it would guide the sleigh. Santa likes cookies and milk, the reigndeer like oats. A child see’s Santa walk in the room. Their little eyes light up the room Their smiles so enchanting. The magic of Christmas, started long ago in a manger in Bethlehem. Ask your child what the true meaning of Christmas is. And when you do be sure to write down what your child says. Ten years from now pull that question out and ask your child that question again, and compare notes. I believe in Santa, I had the opportunity to witness first hand the magic of Christmas……….He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle, And away they all flew like the down of a thistle. But I heard him exclaim, as he drove out of sight, “Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night.”
